Privately a keen athlete. He has completed 4 marathons, 21 half marathons (in Barcelona, Amsterdam, Milan and Paris), Tour de Pologne Amateurs, Velothon Wales (140 km) and the Ironman triathlon competition.
He is fascinated by Russian literature and in his free time he translates poems by W. Wysocki, I. Brodski, B. Pasternak and W. Majakowski, among others. He is preparing a doctoral dissertation at the Department of Philosophy of Religion at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Warsaw devoted to the work of Fyodor Dostoevsky.
